C-Aire FR M-400 30 CFM Desiccant Dryer
The purpose of a Desiccant or Membrane Dryer is to reduce the relative humidity to 0-10% (-40°F dew point). These dryers are perfect for applications that require very dry air such as painting, outdoor applications during winter and equipment that is sensitive to water vapor.
C-Aire FR M-400 Desiccant Dryer
- Max CFM 30
- 1/2" Female NPT
- Reduces dew point to -40 degrees to 20 degrees F
- Removes 100% of moisture, reduces relative humidity to 0-20%
- Effectiveness of dryer depends on how frequently desiccant is changed (Replacement Silica 1 Quart, 1 Gallon)
Notes:
- Water separator and coalescing filter required immediately upstream from dryer to protect desiccant
- Coalescing filter required downstream to remove desiccant particles and dust
- The longevity of the silica gel is improved if the air is cooled before the dryer
