If your air compressor needs also must have dry air, then a dryer is a must. Dryers are sized based on the air flow (CFM) that will be passed through them. High Inlet temperature dryers can accept up to 180 degree inlet air temperatures and a standard dryer typically can handle roughly 100 degrees.
